For property owners:

The CRD team wants to remove the worries about your home in Costa Rica being neglected, and not earning you income. A small and personal business, Eco-Lagarto owners can feel comfortable knowing they are in good hands. We want to take care of your home as if it were our own, and at the same time put in the effort to ensure it generates income for you as a vacation rental.

For vacationing guests:

We will treat you like family, truly wanting you to be immersed in the Pura Vida lifestyle. You wait all year to decide on the perfect vacation, and we want to ensure that happens for you whether you want privacy, quiet and just to relax, or a scheduled set of outings.


Our vision

To stand out with honesty and integrity for both property management and vacation rental business here in Playa Lagarto. We want our Costa Rica Dream to be carried into both the property management/home inspection aspect of the business as well as the vacation rental aspect as without one you cannot have the other.


Our values

We care about this place, it is our dream. We love the community, the country, the environment and want to take care of it. Wanting to share it with guests is true Pura Vida.

Customer service with clarity and communication is important to us, you are not just a number in the books. Honesty and transparency are key, we want home owners and clients both to have peace of mind when working with us.

About us

We are a small family run business with backgrounds in a number of different industries and experiences. Coming from Western Canada we fell in love with this part of Guanacaste a long time ago and chose to make it our home, with Pura Vida in mind.

Some of the things we like to do that are available for your vacation:

Motorcycle/quad tours, surfing, zip lining, horseback riding, kayak tours, fishing and more.

Love the Flora and fauna? Monkeys, turtles, insects, reptiles, birds, sloths… we have been to so many of the sanctuaries and know the way around. There are 20 km of breathtaking trails on site with so many trees, flowers and creatures. If beaches are your thing, there are many world class ones minutes away.

We want it to be easy for booking, accommodation, and rentals. Whether you want to spend your days lounging at the beach, the pool or touring the sights, we can help. From surfing to sanctuaries we can point you in the right direction. From releasing baby turtles to fishing days, nightlife in Tamarindo or shopping.
